Almighty
I do believe in an almighty God, but that makes suffering hard to explain. In seminary we come up with various terms (which thankfully I have already forgotten) to explain different theories about how almighty God really is, but, bottom line is that people will ask us "Why did God let this happen?" and there isn't a good answer for it.

This question of "why God let's things happen?" is a tough one and a real one; it seems like one of those questions that we need to keep close to our hearts and try to live with. I don't have the answer, but am reminded time and time again of my powerlessness when bad things to happen. I cannot begin to discern the mind of God, and so this frustrating question remains...
